I have the above mobile. People can ring me and the phone rings, I can
ring others but when the phone is connected , I cannot hear the other
person but they can hear me, however, if I have an earpeice or
bluetooth connected, everything is fine.
Can anyone assist as to why I cannot hear via the earbit on the phone
itself. I can press the speaker button and then hear the other person.
I have tried the volume key on all settings but to no avail.
Any advice greatfuly accepted

Re: V500 Unable to hear
Move the phone down lower on your ear. If it's held too high you won't
hear a thing.

You did turn up the earpiece volume with the rocker switch, while receiving
a call? The top switch on the left side of the phone.

Re: V500 Unable to hear
If increasing the volume control won't do it it's probably defective.

I have tried all sorts when including turning the volume up, whilst
talking but the only way I hear the other person is to put the speaker
on or through earpiece/bluetooth attachment.
I cannot understand why I can hear through these but not through the
headset earpiece?
Thanks for your thoughts anyway.

Re: V500 Unable to hear
I except what you say but where is the logic of being able to hear when
the speaker is activated or through the handsfree or bluetooth but not
through the headset earpiece?
Thanks anyway I guess I will ahve to resort to a fixer!

Re: V500 Unable to hear
Earpiece is probably broken or filled with dirt/lint. If not clean it
will be muffled.

Re: V500 Unable to hear
Is it easy to take the cover off to see if the earpiece is full of ****
or it is broken or should I leave it to a proffessional?

Re: V500 Unable to hear
If it's still under warranty just bring it in. They won't cover it if it
looks like you might have broken it.

Thanks again for your advice. I will take it into a repair place but
it isn't under warranty, so I was going to try and check to see if it
was dirt/lint that is the problem but I don't know enough about taking
the phone apart. It has not been dropped or missued and went all of a
sudden, so I know I haven't done anything to it.
Thanks again

Re: V500 Unable to hear
You know it could be a software problem. Try reflex it and
