I have a V180 that I am trying to use as a modem on my Dell Latitude
laptop, using AT&T Global Network Client. The laptop connects to the
phone with no problem, and the phone shows as a Motorola USB modem in
the software's modem list. When I try to connect, the phone displays
Calling... (the phone number), and a phone icon, but does not actually
activate the dialing sequence. Is there a code that can be entered in
the GNC set up in the Dial Prefix to activate the phone before the
dialing begins?
