Verizon V710 and MPT4.0

When I hook my phone up to Motorola Phone Tools It seems like everything
works except
the Media icon is grayed out. Does anyone know why I can't access this?

Because Verizon wanted it that way so you'd be forced to use their GET IT
NOW service. Use a transflash card if you want to transfer ringtones and
pics.
