I have been trying to connect to my workplace via my laptop and motorola v3.

We have a dial in server and i can connect in via the normal phone line but when i try and connect via my v3 the number dials and connects on the phone but the status on the laptop remains at "Dialing..." as though it is waiting for something. The process then times out after a minute.

The RAS server i am dialing into responds after about 10 seconds when i dial it from the mobile and not through the modem.

Is there anything else i need to download to make this work as i thought you could just plug it in and once installed dial. Are there any special settings Vodafone users need that are not listed on their website?

Operator - Vodafone UK
Conection - USB
OS - Windows XP Pro
