How to connect a Pocket PC via GPRS on Orange (Switzerland)

To set up the connection:


1) If you are using bluetooth then switch bluetooth on, if not,
connect the phone to the Pocket PC using a connector cable

2)If using bluetooth create a bond between the Pocket PC and the Phone

3) Click Start -> Settings -> Connections Tab -> Connections -> Manage
Existing Connections -> New

4) Use the following Details:
Name: Orange GPRS
Modem: Bluetooth Dialup Modem (or Your Modem)
Number to dial: *99#
Username, Password & Domain: All Blank

5) Click Advanced

6) Use the following Details:
Baud Rate: 57600
Uncheck 'wait for dial tone'
Extra Dial String: +cgdcont=1,"IP","internet"

Note: In most English speaking countries the Extra Dial String is
+cgdcont=1,"IP","orangeinternet"

7) Click OK -> Finish

To connect:

1) If you are using bluetooth then switch bluetooth on, if not,
connect the phone to the Pocket PC using a connector cable

2) Start Internet Explorer

3) When prompted for the Username, Password & Domain just leave them
blank and continue

You should now be connected )
