I have one of the first Razrs. Just got Bluetooth in my car. Battery
goes down FAST. I am assuming that the phone is "talking" all the time
it is in the car. Is this correct; or is it that the phone is actively
searching when it is not in the car, or both? Is there a software
    upgrade?

I know that you can turn BT off on the phone, but the whole idea of BT
in my car is that the phone never has to come out of my pocket, and
that I will not leave it in the car.

I searched FAQ before asking this question. Did I miss some threads? I
find it hard to believe that I am being singled out with this problem.

Re: Bluetooth & phone battery life

I have UConnect in my car which connects to my razr while it's in my
pocket and it is a real battery drainer. The BT connection is active the
whole time you're in the car so I've taken to plugging in the car
charger for anything more than a jaunt around the corner. Sort of
defeats the whole purpose of using BT but with such a small battery
there's no real alternative right now.
