On the Motorola V330 cell phone, how can you tell if Bluetooth is powered on
or off?
The bluetooth icon only comes on when there is actual data transfer
happening. As a result, if the bluetooth link is idle, there is no way to
tell if it is powered on or off.
If there is no data transfer, is there no power drain?
Thanks,

I've been told the BT 2.0 spec offers a headset profile which powers
down the BT transmitter during times of inactivity. When the receiver
detects new data, it promptly wakes up and goes right back to work.

Re: V330 - Bluetooth Status?
Are there any BT 2.0 headsets available???? The HS820 appears to be BT
1.2 and the HS850, I believe is also not BT 2.0 capable.

Oops, sorry, I'm getting my BT and USB numbers mixed up. It's BT 1.2
with the wake-up feature, which my HS-810 doesn't have.
