On my new Motorola V330 cell phone, my shortcuts disappear when I turn off
the phone and turn it back on. Is there a trick that I am missing so that
the shortcuts are permanently saved?

I have the same problem. T-mobile tells me that's the way it's supposed
to work (which is absurd), while Motorola tells me the phone is
malfunctioning.
Let us know if you find a solution.

Re: V330 Shortcuts Disappear
My solution was to return the phone. This phone has way too many flakey
problems. The only good thing is the quad band GSM coverage, but
unfortunately at my cabin, the 850 GSM coverage was just as weak as the
T-Mobile signal, so I gave up.
It's hard for me to understand how a product like this gets released. You'd
think the design engineers would be using their own product, and these bugs
would drive them as crazy as the rest of us. Or maybe they all use
Nokias......

Re: V330 Shortcuts Disappear
I went into my local t-mobile store yesterday and they pulled up an
intercompany memo regaurding the return of "defective" v330 because of
the disappearing shourtcuts. It informed the store that it was a known
"defect" and to not issue replacement handsets due to this problem. It
also informed the store to say that the shortcuts were temporary
shortcuts.

Re: V330 Shortcuts Disappear
It's amazing that Motorola would ship such crap. Don't they have any
concept on what this does to their reputation. It will be at least 10 years
before I give another Motorola product a try.
