    Hi.
I'm thinking of getting a Razr V3. I read somewhere that the address book
can only hold phone numbers and email addresses, with no option for street
addresses and such like. Is this the case?

Secondly, what sort fo features does the calendaring functionality have?
I'm currently using a Nokia 6230, which seems to cover all the bases I
need. How does a Razr compare?

    Cheers.

    It is. Motorola phonebooks suck.

Yes - for reasons that only Motorola knows, they are the only major
manufacturer that doesn't support phone book addresses.

The calendar is just OK - it handles repeats and reminders but doesn't
accept notes (another HUGE Motorola deficiency.)

That said, it's a great phone. If Motorola would only get their OS
together it would be an AWESOME phone.

Do a search on google for j2me AND notepad and you will find a jad and
jar download for your phone. If you want to do all kinds of stuff to
your phone, including raising the earpiece volume a bit so you can hear
in a crowd, and install stuff from your computer so you don't get
charged web browser time, head over to the Motorola Hacker's Bible.
You can even get rid of the cingular graphic on the outside of the
phone when you talk, and replace it with something more to your liking
(so you are not a walking advertisement).

Cheers for the responses, everyone. I think I'll stick with my existing
    phone.
