ringtone folder???

Moto V220. Installed MPT on PC, all appears to be working, but on the phone
side, it shows 2 folders(audio,pictures) but there is nothing in the audio
folder, and there are actually 5+ stored ringtones on the phone. Are the
ringtones stored on the phone in some other place? If I create ringtones on
the PC, where will I put them?

It won't show any proprietary ringtones, tones that came with the phone. It
will only show tones that you added to the folder/phone yourself.
