v600 sms capacity

Hi folks

I'm trying to find a way of extending the number of SMS messages my v600
will hold. At the moment i tend to get a 'memory alert' at around 13 SMS's
in the inbox. This seems a very small amount...having done a bit of research
i've found references to 'flexing' software versions - what is this and how
does it work? Also, is it possible to copy then SMS's over to the phone
memory (as i presume they're being held in the Sim memory)?

Does the memory capacity depend on other data on the phone, e.g. mp3's,
pictures etc?

You can SEEM edit the phone to store them on the phone instead of the SIM
