V551 firmware

I have read that with the latest V551 firmware from Motorola improves battery issues, improved
reception among other things. Does anyone know where to find the latest firmware? I have searched
with no luck. Thank you.

Ya, there are quite a few custom V551 files, but Moto also released one to
service providers as well, but you have to see either your provider or
contact moto to be put in touch with a service center.
The ones on motomodders.net are fine so I hear, but you should back
everything up and be prepared to manually enter in your providers mms/wap
settings.
