the v1050 doesn't have the bluetooth hardware so it cannot be unlocked. The
v975 and v980 which share the same housing as the 1050 are exactly the same
    way.
If you want a bluetooth phone you should've bought one that had it

you're wrong, the v1050 has the bluetooth (see also american ebay), but it
is locked by Vodafone. Look at the datasheets. v980 and v1050 have same
    housing but different hardware

Can you provide an official datasheet that shows the v1050 has bluetooth
    hardware

Since vodafone sells other phones with bluetooth, it seems they don't have
problems with that technology. Why would they disable it on this phone if it
has the hardware? It doesn't make sense at all.

If your only basis for thinking the phone has bluetooth is because of an
ebay auction, you are sadly misguided. It definitely doesn't matter to me
one way or the other since its a crap phone either way.

    Re: BLUETOOTH on MOTOROLA V1050

Notwithstanding one's opinion of the quality of the phone or Vodaphone's
reason for not offering it, according to the article I've cited below, the
phone does indeed have Bluetooth. While the article could be wrong, it's at
least something more than just one man's opinion.
