I got the phone a while back from tmobile. My other phone is a treo and
I am so used to be able to enter / edit phonebook etc. in the pc. What
do I need to get phone data to/from pc and edit it on my pc?

Seems I need some software - not sure what.
Some cable? for phone connection with pc?

There seems to be so many software available.. this just in eBay

I found more on the net. I am not familier with how this works, but
seems like there in the Moto PhoneTools software (different versions,
like 2.21, 3 etc.) and some tools which are 3rd party.

Any recommendations? I need basic phone directory editing software as
cheaply as possible, but some extras are nice.

    Thanks.

I use Mobile Phone Tools for my Cingular Motorola V551.
    Downloaded Version 3.11. $29.95
    http://www.bvrp.com/customers/motorola/upgrade/US/
    $8.99 from shopoem.com

This will sync the phonebook and Calendar with Outlook, or a standalone
    BVRP database.
