Apparently there is an issue in California with a number of cellular service
providers selling cell phones advertised to have bluetooth functions that do
not. The main phone in question seems to be the Motorola V710. If you go to
https://www.lawyersandsettlements.co...representation
there is more information on this and what can be done about it. There is
also a free case evaluation provided for those who might have purchased such
a phone expecting bluetooth functionality. I hope that this may be of some
help.

Re: Cell phone bluetooth function problem
You've posted this to mostly GSM newsgroups. And yet Mot V710 is a CDMA
phone. What does is have to do with GSM?

Nothing. The lawsuit involved a CDMA carrier -- Verizon Wireless.
