Hello,

I am posting to this group because the Motorola HT820 is officially
supported on the Motorola A1000, E1000, V635, MPX220 and E398 cellular
phones. I am hoping that someone's experience using the HT820 with one
of these models could help be isolate a problem that I'm having with
the HT820.

I recently purchased the Motorola HT820 Bluetooth headphones and am
using them with an HP iPAQ hw6515 Messenger with Windows Mobile 2003 SE
Phone Edition smartphone.

The iPAQ connects successfully to the Motorola HT820 with both the
Handsfree and Audio Gateway profiles. Listening to music and receiving
calls work great, except for the following.

Consistently but at random intervals (once every couple of minutes) the
audio is interrupted for a second or two. Windows Media Player plays
through the skip and the Bluetooth connection manager indicates a "Just
Right" signal strength and does not register a break in the connection
when a skip occurs. This occurs with the iPAQ in my hand or across the
room and with no other programs running on the iPAQ other than Windows
Media.

Other Bluetooth headsets do not experience this interrupted audio with
this iPAQ.

Has anyone else experienced "skips" in audio playback on the HT820?

Kind regards,
Tim
