Hi everyone.
I got told today by a technical guy at a Major US cell carrier that
there are programs out there that can generate unlock codes for all
Motorola phones, new & old.
Does anyone know what these programs are and where to get hold of
them!! I'm told they are code generators and NOT cable solutions!!
Thanks!

See

http://www.motounlocknow.com/vxxximei.htm
Cable unlocking is still available from multiple sources; e.g.,
http://www.mobile2mobile.net/unlock/...ngMotorola.htm
(This was all easily found with Google.)

There seemed to be a common thread there:
"Sorry
This Service Has Been Temporarily Suspended :-(
All Motorola Code Vendors Are In The Same Position
Do Not Buy Any Motorola Codes Until Further Notice
"
