I could be wrong as I haven't used my v60t in a couple of years, but
IIRC the phone only allows rings that are based on basic tones and will
not accept or read wav, midi or mp3 files. I used to have some ringtone
maker software for that phone that you can have if you like.

Please help! V60t problems using phone tools

    Hello,

I have motorola phone tools set up under 98SE and cannot get either a
v60t or a v400 phone to set up as a modem. 98 is my primary OS and I
would love to get it working here. Windoze detects the phone and tries
to set it up, but cannot find any driver or .inf file that it thinks
will work on either phone. I tried it under 2000 Pro and the phones
set right up with no problem. No widoze detection, just detection and
    setup by phone tools.

However, once the v60t sets up, I cannot get any ringtones to download
to the phone. Do the ringtones for this phone have to be in some
format other than .wav or am i just not doing something properly. I go
into "setup" choose the ringtone I want, click 'apply". Is there
    another step I am missing?

Any and all help greatly appreciated.
