Remove AIM from RAZR V3 main screen

Is it possible to dump the AIM selection on the
main screen of a Razr? I have no use for it and
would like to replace it with the address book.

I have found a Windows program that is reported
to make this possible, but I don't run any Windows
OS of any flavor.

Is it possible w/o any external tool?
