i850 Display

Is there a way to remove the yellow Nextel startup/shutdown screens?
Also, can the text on the display be changed at all to allow for
customization?

My Wife and I have identical i560s. To quickly tell them apart, I made
a custom profile with our respective names as the title. Since the
display on the i560 shows the profile in use, we have in effect added
our names to the display screen. I know of no Banner one can add to the
display though.
