Morning all;

I have an A920 which ran completely flat yesterday. When I plugged it into
the wall it beeped and the screen lit up as normal, but the black screen
that says "MOTOROLA 3G" hasn't gone away and has the red border around it.

I assumed pushing the reset button would clear this, but the same thing
happened. I swapped to the other battery, removed the sim, used a different
sim and removed the SD card - all with no luck ;(

However, this morning the alarm went off and woke the phone up! The screen
now shows the Alarm panel on the black field with the red border around it,
which at least gives me some hope that something is still ticking over in
the box...

Is there a way of doing a factory reset on these things when you cant get
past the opening screen? This is the only thing I can think of that would
help, but any other suggestions would be welcome as I can't stand the T68 my
sim card is in at the moment
