Transferring Phonebook v3 to v3

Hi All

Just got a new black v3 (g/f gonna have my old silver one) I have
nearly 200 numbers stored on the phone, what is the best way to
transfer my phonebook? I think the sim will store about a hundred?

Cheers and tia

Dave

The SIM won't hold "optional" information, like work/home/cell/email, and
I've had it truncate user names.
It would be better to sync the phone to a PC, and then sync the other
phone.

I use Mobile Phone Tools for my Cingular Motorola V551.
Downloaded Version 3.11. $29.95 - LiveUpdate to 3.28 before you try to
connect a phone.
http://www.bvrp.com/customers/motorola/upgrade/US/
$8.99 from shopoem.com

This will sync the phonebook and calendar with Outlook, or a standalone
BVRP database. I used this to move data from my old phone to new phone,
and maintain separate address books for my wife and me.

Yahoo! Contacts Back-up <http://mobile.yahoo.com/clife> is one of several
options.

if you have 2 sim cards you could beam them over via bluetooth.
it doesnt matter if the cards are acive or not you just need them to start
the phone up.
