    If you just want to be able to use your phone to tether your computer
    then download Cingular's communication manager.

    www.cingular.com/communicationmgr

    Install the software 1st then plug in your usb cable and have it find
    your phone. I've used my V551 and with the software and it was easy to
    set up and connect.
