I'd like to get the magnum pi theme song as a ring tone for my motorola
v710 from verizon. I am having no luck. I cannot find the ring tone on
the verizon website, the ones I find via google are all foreign and I
can't buy them. I have no problem paying for a decent sounding ring tone
but I'm not having any luck. Advice?

Can't speak for your phone, but I downloaded it as an mp3 file from the
following site:
http://www.mobileplayground.co.uk/ri...uetones/tv.htm
.... and used Mobile Phone Tools to transfer it to my V3 RAZR ...
Works fine and it's a free download.

Re: magnum pi ring tone for a Moto 710?
The ads at the sides of that page are indeed to sites with ringtone
downloads that appear to incur charges even though they have 'free' in the
name... and there is also a 'Members Only' option (£5 for 3 mos) that seems
to allow access to a large list of mobile video, ring tones & wallpapers.
But the main list in the center of the page are those that can be downloaded
from the author (Right Click, Save As) for free. I'm using one of the
'Magnum PI' mp3's from that list and did not have to subscribe to anything
to download.
