HS820 blocks tones?

I just got the Motorola Bluetooth earpiece HS820 and works well with my V3
but when using tones to access an automated system the tones either do not
go through or are modified so that the remote systems does not recognize
them.

For example: I have programmed a call sequence for my voice mail which calls
the number then send in the id # and pin # this always works unless I am
using the earpiece, then the login fails.

Any clue to what may be going on here?

It's a Motorola thing. You don't even get customized ring tones if you
have bt turned on with their phones. I have done away with BT, it's
nothing but an annoyance!

I have an HS850, and I definitely can use DTMF tones while on the
headset. I'm not sure the headset could affect this if it wanted to,
although it might be a limitation of the phone.

I have the same phone, but perhaps a different software version?

Thanks! At this moment I can't tell you which version of the SW I'm
running. I'm also trying to see how to do the new flash from motox but
can't find PST anywhere.
