V551 24 hour clock display?

I would like to show 24 digital clock on my V551 rather than am/pm.
Having default setting of 24 hour clock everywhere, such as alarms,
would be even better! I think I saw a posting once about how to do
that, but I cannot find it. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Settings, initial settings, turn off auto-update, manually set it to 24
hour format, and then turn auto-update on.
