Flash? Flex? Bootload?

Got a new RAZR. Is there a "RAZR for Dummies" book or FAQ or tutorial? I'm
not just asking for a definition of "flex" for instance. How do I know what
my choices are and whether I want to do all this stuff in the first place?

Remember a few years ago when it was the rage among car enthusiasts to put a
bra on the front of your sports car?. There was a technical reason for it,
but it also just looked cool. I don't know that a technical explanation of
the bra would have really captured their use in actual practice. Similarly,
I'm looking for what's all the rage among RAZR-heads.

There are a few good sites to check out and all have noob guides. Read
every one of them at least twice before modding!
