Verizon V3c External Display off???

I just received my new Verizon RAZR V3c and one of the first things I
noticed was the External display only stays lit immediately after the
phone has been opened and for 10 seconds after its closed, or when using
the camera. Other then that the display is dark.

Is there a way to keep this display on all the time?
