RAZR Network speed fast or medium?

I have a RAZR v3 under TMobile. In the network settings there is a speed
setting. It came on medium. What does putting to Fast do? Is this for
voice or just for data or what?

It's the scanning speed that the phone uses to search for networks.
Using slow or medium may improve battery life slightly.

Nonsense. Numerous studies have shown no effect on health, and the difference
in radiation is negligible in any event.

I would agree with this.

The difference in signal power/intensity is the same as using a phone in a
poor signal area as opposed to a high signal area.
