Verizon Moto E815 Firmware Flash

Tech Rep just verified the newest Verizon Moto E815 firmware flash to be
version 8720_01.1E.00. Previous version was 8720_01.17.03. Does anybody
know the changes in this newest version? Tech didn' know.

How can I tell which version I'm currently running? I just got my phone two days ago.

It's under phone info/ other information/ s w version

OK, now I'm answering myself.

I checked my firmware when I wrote the above message and I see it's
8720_01.17.03.

Sorry if this is something that I should know, but how do I update it
to the later version... or do I want to?

i downloaded the firmware update 8720_01.1E.00 from
"http://rapidshare.de/files/12276278/CDMA-E815-Verizon-011806.zip.html"
i want to update from my version: 8720_01.17.03.
can anyone advise as to how to do this - maybe step by stem or send a link.
motorola makes a good phone. i have used several lg's before and although
consumer reports had rated them consistantly at the top, i found that they
sucked! i was always losing calls from too many locations where i live; not
so with motorola phones - especially this e815 which is by far the best
phone i've ever had; i love it!

What program do you use to run that
update??. With an SHX extension. I dont
now. Any help would be appreciated.
