Synch with Palm Desktop?

Is there a way to synch up with the address book and calendar of Palm's
desktop?

I have avoided using Outlook as a security precaution, but have found that the
downside is many contact managers, phones and such don't synch up with Palm
Desktop.

I suppose I could always just cut and paste....

All replies most appreciated.

Re: Synch with Palm Desktop?

Oh wow. Would that there were. I haven't ever found such a thing but
I'd pay big bucks for it.

I just installed Outlook just for this. Doesn't Chapura have a prg
that'll sync Palm with Outlook. If we can use that then sync Outlook
with the phone, it would be a nice, roundabout way of doing this.

Problem is, I can't get Outlook to sync. The choices are on the menu
but grayed out. MPT says Outlook is in "internet mail only" mode,
whatever the hell that is.

If you have any ideas about this, I'd appreciate it. Oh and Palm. If
you're reading this, you should know that there are several people in
the country now that have cell phones.

Re: Synch with Palm Desktop?

I wish I could help. I gave up using Outlook maybe 10 years ago when hacks
started highjacking the address book. Use another mail client now that
isn't popular enough to attract much hacking attention.
