I have a Moto e815 phone and a Belkin BT dongle. I'd like to be able to
sync contacts, etc. using Motorola Phone Tools (MPT), but I cannot get the
Belkin BT dongle to install properly. I've read a lot about this via
google, and tried all the fixes and workarounds to no avail (for those of
you who are familiar with this nightmare I cannot get past the bluetooth
hardware license error). Do you know if there are any BT dongles available
that will "plug & play" with SP2 and MPT? It will be worth it to me to buy
a new one if it will just work instead of creating another hacking
    nightmare. TIA

Your going to still need to hack the E815 hardware. Are you on verizon ?
Verizon turned off bluetooth. No matter which bluetooth dongle you get, Your
still going to have to hack the firmware.

It would be necessary to hack the firmware if I wanted to transfer
wallpaper, photos, etc. between the phone and the computer, but the e815
supports contact and calendar synchronization as is. I know because I had
it working on a different computer.
