razr v3i "time autoupdate" seem edit - same as on the regular v3?

this is from the v3 seem table
(http://www.planetmotox.net/motox101/v3_seem_table.htm). anyone know
if this same seem edit will work on the v3i?

Time Autoupdate
Settings > Initial Setup > Time and Date > Autoupdate
0032_0001 > offset 00 > bit 0 - Activate Menu
0032_0001 > offset 55 > bit 2 - Activate Function

Yes, it works. Most if not all of the v3 SEEMs are the same for the v3i.

If you turn this on it may still not work as AutoUpdate is carrier dependant
and your operator may not support it.

our carrier does have the auto-update, and it works fine on my
v3...just wanted to be sure it was the seem edit on the v3i.

Autoupdate is a fine feature. But it can do spooky things.

While in Prague last month, my Cincinnati Bell V3 showed Cincinnati
time
in Autoupdate mode. If I manually set the V3 to Prague time, then
reactivated Autoupdate, the phone would set itself back to Cincinnati
time. My phone tuned itself into T-Mobile in Prague, but the
Autoupdate feature must be tied to the home office that has your
account.

That's odd, it always sets to local time when I travel both w/in the US
and abroad.
