Moto v172 and midi

I'm not an expert on MIDI and the different sub-versions of the
standard.

However, I have found that while trying to download .MID files to my
Motorola v172 GSM phone, some midi tunes work as ringtones, others
don't play at all.

I have tried looking at "File Info" using Winamp 5.x but all midi files
show as "Midi v1" so I really don't know what is causing SOME midi
tunes to work and others not to play at all.

Any ideas?.

Thanks in advance.

PS: I really would like to find a way to erase the pre-installed games,
to make room for other data. Any ideas of how to accomplish this?

Hmm try this tools>phone status>storage devices>select the volume where
the ringtones, games are and format.
Remember this will erase all the user files that are stored here such
as ringtones, games, and phone contacts, pictures saved to the phone.
