(I have a RAZR V3i, which is the UK model and does not have iTunes
software.) I've been trying to load mp3 files onto it and though they
transfer across OK and details read OK on the phone, the phone won't play
them - it says "file format not supported". Experimentation seems to suggest
that the problem is the bit rate that they are encoded at...
Can anyone confirm this and if so, what is the limit?
Thanks,
Tim

Re: MP3s on V3i
I can't speak to the limit but I have MP3 files up to 192kbps working
fine. Most are 168 and some are 128.

Thanks - I've now ripped mine at 160 and they seem to work fine. I was
getting a bit panicky that I was doing something wrong!
