Don't blame Motorola - blame the compnay you bought it from. In their
stand-alone retail packages Motorola bundles a lot of stuff including
cables and software. However, in a carrier branded package it is the
carrier who determines what is bundled and, since they're trying to sell
it as cheaply as possible, things like cables and software are often
left out.
You can buy original disks and cables on ebay for about $15 and any
version from 2.11 up will upgrade itself to the latest on installation.
