'invalid battery' message

i got one of these batteries on ebay. when i put it in the phone, i got
'invalid battery' displayed on the screen (in beautiful 4k color, but who
cares?). the ebay ad did NOT say it wouldnt work with a verizon CDMA
phone--and im on a t720 utilizing verizon triband.

i assume from past posts here that this battery actually does work, even
though the display has that 'invalid battery' message?

I got the same battery from them.
I also get the same message and have not gotten a reply back yet.

The phone won't charge the battery. Originally bargaincell told me that
they'd swap the battery for a smaller capacity one that will work with the
Verizon phone, but I haven't heard from them in a week.
It looks like they didn't know that the batteries wouldn't work with Verizon
phones until customers started trying to use them.

Don't use the auction address to try to contact them. Use
[email protected] for an actual response.
