I'm wondering if it would be possible to connect a headset via the
charger base. I'd like to be able to leave a headset attached to the
base so I don't have to unplug the headset jack all the time.

Maybe someone knows the pinouts for the charger base connector?
Are the headset jack connections available at the connector?
