Message Memory - V3 Razr

I have a Motorola RAZR V3 ... which I only recently brought, and it
only lets me hold 12 or so text messages, 15 I think is the most I have
held, in the inbox. Just wondering if this is the limit or do you have
to change a setting ... it would be quite disappointing if it only
holds that many.

It may be because it stores them on the SIM card.
If this is the case, there are two ways to overcome the
issue.

1) the message setup offers the option to "store to phone"
(not all v3 firmware allow this)

2) edit the seem to set a bit to 1 that will tell the v3
to store the SMS to the phone. That's what I did.
