I transfered tunes to it via iTunes and I can play them fine on the
phone but I can't browse to them thru the USB. the iTunes folder is empty.

I also drag-and-dropped some mp3 into the audio folder thru USb but
these files don't show up and won't play on the phone.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

    Nothing.

    Works as designed.
Its the same with the ipod.

The music directory is not "visible" to the PC-Port.
The "normal directories" cannot be used to play music.

I call this "crippled software". Its intended to support DRM.

Do not buy such crap. Buy "open" systems.

    Wolfgang

PS: For the Ipod there is software to come around this.
Maybe there is something similar for the itunes version of the V3i too.

Use the sounds player, It's not a Java app. so it uses less battery. Also
the only limit to the number of songs it will play is the size of the memory
cardand they can be used in the V3i up to 1 gig.

For more info on the sounds player go to www.motox.info and do a search on
    sounds player.
