I just bought an unlocked V3x and my carrier is Cingular.
Does anyone know how to get the clock to set to local system time? My
other phones were set up to do this, which was convenient for when I
travel. I can't find a menu that will do this. (I do know how to adjust
the clock, though.)
Thanks

No, that doesn't work.

Re: Razr V3x System Time
In the Time menu there should be an option to choose Autoupdate. If
there's not, you can add it by doing two simple SEEM edits.
SEEM 0032_0001; Offset 00, bit 0 set to 1 and Offset 55, bit 2 set to 1

Thanks, Bruce. Now I know a little more about my phone an Seem updates.

Re: Razr V3x System Time
Bruce,
I think this succeeded. At offset 00, I changed the value from D6 to
D7. At offset 55 (hex) the value was already FF, so I did nothing.
The Autoupdate option showed up. I manually changed the time so I could
see if it acutally updated. Then I turned auto update on. Success!!
This will be very helpful when I travel.
Thanks,
Jim
