V360 web access problem

I only bought this last week to replace a sagem I lost, its a nice phone but
I have a web connection problem.

when I go to web access and look at the web sessions there are little
padlocks on the side of the connections list.
I am assuming this is why I'm getting a "connection unsuccessful, try again
later" every time I try to go online.
I had T-mobile send the settings to the phone but it came up with the same.

I think this is where the problem lies but it may be something else.
can anyone suggest what is going on as I am lost on this.

(I am on pay as you go if that makes a difference but my old sagem connected
just fine)

Re: V360 web access problem

I have the same phone, same carrier. I had to do a SEEM edit to have
the menu 'open up' the ability to create/edit session definitions. Then
I added a GPRS session and all's fine.

Is that what you want to do?

I suppose that is what I need to do then. Next question, how?

Re: V360 web access problem

I would recommend spending some time at these sites:
yuetblog.blogspot.com, and motox.info. They have references to free
software you can download to access the phone's various memory areas..
Sounds scary, but I've done it several times with no problems. I cannot
remember the specifics, or I would lay it out here.

Re: V360 web access problem

Well I've been looking at the stuff recommended and now I'm confused (I am
getting on a bit :-) If anyone can give a step by step guide to opening this
menu, in fact opening all menus, would much appreciate it.

Re: V360 web access problem

You may have taken too big a bite Check this address
http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic46762.html

That's just about 'sessions'. P2KTools allow you to do the SEEM's. I
can't remember where I got that, but Google should get you there...
