Just got a couple of L6's from Virgin, generally pleased with them but
we're having a couple of problems, maybe someone could help.

The Bluetooth has picked up my TomTom GO 510 and the Motorola suite on
the computer with no trouble but when me and the wife try to set up a
connection phone to phone however we try they wont find each other, is
    this a common problem?

I've acquired a couple of Java games from the internet but when I try
and load them on the phone the Motorola suite says upload has been
    refused.
I used a cable for this and I've seen on the web that I should enable
Java loading but there isn't this option in the menu.

This is my first Bluetooth phone and my first non Nokia so any help
    would be gratefully received.

How did you try to establish the phone-to-phone connection? I guess you
tried to copy files from phone to phone. In this case, the correct
    procedure is:

    1. enable "see me" or "visible" option in the receiving phone's BT menu
    2. open the file you would like to transfer in the media folder, press
the menu button and select "copy", then "bluetooth".

Motorola Phone Tools don't help you here. Bluetooth is your best bet for
uploading JAVA apps to the phone. Use the "OBEX Push" option of your
PC's BT menu to transfer the .jar file to the phone.

I'll try that thanks but basically I was trying to get a connection
    between the two phones.

I set one to find me and let the other one search but it couldn't find
    anything.

Not seen that but then I'm a Bluetooth newbie, I'll have a snoop around,
    again many thanks.

What do you mean by "connection"? What do you expect to be able to do
    once that connection is established?

How did you let the second phone search?

I've sorted it now thanks, I selected a ringtone, menu, copy, set other
phone to find me, sent the ringtone.

That's all I wanted to do, transfer from one to t'other via Bluetooth.

    I did say I was a Bluetooth newbie :-)
