My partner's V3 can display maps via My List (browser tab #2) > Travel &
Location > Maps & Directions - even my old Sagem MyC5-V2 would show maps
even if the street names were somewhat unreadable, but my KRZR only
displays "200 : No Content" for any map.

Thinking it might be a browser software problem I called Moto support,
but they say it's a page script error. Called Voda support (Voda UK's
email form hasn't worked for months), and they said try several hard
resets by removing the battery while the phone is still switched on,
else take it to a Voda shop for them to sort out.

    Any thoughts?

    Re: KRZR VodafoneLive disappointmet

Seems like my KRZR suffers poor GPRS/WAP reception.

Took it to be looked at in the town centre's Voda shop and it displayed
maps with no problems (would they have a signal booster?), elsewhere
round town was hit and miss.

My partner's V3 has so far performed 100% when displaying maps, whereas
my KRZR has shown a >90% failure.

Does anyone know how GPRS/WAP reception compares between the V3and V3i?

    Thanks

    Probably a micro-cell.

    Very similar.

K1 supports EDGE, V3 and V3i do not. Maybe that is causing trouble.
Don't know if Vodafone (UK?) uses EDGE anyway.

    Thanks John,

I'm still within the 14 day exchange period, so I think I'll try the
    V3i.
