V3 wont charge !!!

Weird....

Battery has gone flat but now when I plug it in I still cant switch it
on. Its as if the battery is failing to charge !!!

Any ideas ?

Sometimes when I plug mine in, it gives me a message "unable to charge". To
circumvent that, I R&R the battery and replug it back in and it will charge.
Weird. Seems to do it if I am to quick to plug it in after powering it down.
Maybe you can do the same and see if that helps.

Even if you remove the battery altogether (plugged in, of course)?

Didn't know it would power on at all without the battery ???

No message - nothing. Tried removing the battery and giving the
contacts a wipe etc....

That could be dirty/corroded contacts. Try cleaning them.

Could be your battery or charger has taken a powder.....

If the battery is a year old or more it likely needs to be replaced.

Is this after you sat on it and replaced the cracked glass or before? Or is
it a totally separate V3?

Perhaps your ass did much more damage than you expected.
