Any ideas where I can get FREE software so i can transer data to/from
phone and backup all my contacts?

It works exactly as advertised and is available from any PC anywhere.
Mind you, it's not for photos, ringers and other stuff, but as a backup
for the phonebook and calendar it's easy. I like easy. For other stuff
see www.zedge.net (VERY cool site).
