V3x RAZR - alarm clock periodically does not work

I've noticed that at times (though rarely), the alarm clock doesn't
work on my V3x RAZR - I configure the alarm, enable it for 8:00 AM,
then wake up at 9:00 AM! the alarm clock icon is visible, but for some
reason the alarm did not go off at 8:00 AM. I don't think that I am
that heavy a sleeper that I slept through it.

Most every other time it has worked fine, but every so often, the alarm
will not go off.

anyone ever noticed this?

Great!, now I have a reason to don't get up early for work , the same
happens with mine, but it just doesnt ring at the time I programmed it,
no ring at all. I've noticed that it happens more often when I leave a
Java application in suspended mode. I don't feel like flashing my phone
just to make the alarm work properly, so if any help can be provided...
