Deleting pics on K1 KRZR

I have received a K1 today and took a number of pictures with it. When I
came to delete them I couldn't. box came up saying that the pics were being
used and they could not bedeleted.
Anybody know how I can overcome this?

Turn off the phone, remove the battery, put it back in and power up.
Should be OK now.
