How to make a1200 modem work in linux.

Hi,

I am using motorola a1200 aka motoming as modem to browse the net. In
windows I am using phonetools to connect to net through a1200.

Is there anyway in to connect to internet using this cell phone as a
modem in linux (ubuntu or fedora or suse) ?

Depending on how you wish to connect, the stuff at
http://www.eridani.co.uk/docs/linux-timeport/ may be of some help. It's
primarily geared at infrared and USB connectivity, but I plan to add
Bluetooth to it at some point.
