    Hi,
I was wondering if someone has experience in syncing Razr V3 calendar
and music with linux based computer? I´m planning on buying Razr V3xx
and I am interested to know if I can sync the calendar and upload music
just using free software (ie. linux).

    Regards,
    Petri

The closest we have is Moto4Lin at http://moto4lin.sourceforge.net. I
have subscribed to its mailing list.

There are issues with the dual mode nature of the device.

Hi and thanks for your answer.
Can you elaborate on your comment that "There are issues with the dual
mode nature of the device." ?
What do you mean exactly by this? The syncing is not currently working?
Is it reasonable to expect that it will be working in the future?

The phone has two distinct modes, AT mode, used for wireless network
access, and "P2K" mode, used for file access. The phone responds to the
command necessary to put the phone into P2K mode. After that, the phone
acts like there is no correct driver. When in P2K mode, mine responded
to a command, the reset command, only once.

The author of moto4lin hasn't figured out why it doesn't want to work in
    P2K mode yet.
